We are a Venture Capital firm that evaluates and develops business opportunities for a select group of private investors. Our differentiated business model and capital structure permits us to take a long-term investment horizon and a partnership approach with portfolio companies, aligning interests of investors, investment professionals and entrepreneurs. Our goal is to build solid, innovative, high-growth companies, through long-term partnerships with visionary entrepreneurs.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
We look for visionary entrepreneurs with innovative ideas in attractive industries and we typically participate in Seed or First rounds. For us, a good business model is a necessary but not sufficient condition for a business to flourish. In start-up companies, the business model has to be reviewed and adapted continuously, and this doesn’t happen by magic. What makes the difference is the team of entrepreneurs and that is why our focus is on working closely with entrepreneurs.
We look for entrepreneurs that understand the importance of the following elements when starting-up a high-growth business and looking for Venture Capital investment:
- Objective and well-structured Business Plan.
- Large potential market.
- Simple and well defined initial business model.
- Scalability and recurrence of revenues.
- Differentiated solutions for real or latent demands.
- Innovative technology, content or processes.
- Clear exit strategy.
We evaluate opportunities in several industries, but areas of particular interest are:
- Media & Entertainment: Creation, production and/or distribution of entertainment and/or information related content.
- Education: Products, services or technologies that impact learning/teaching processes.
- Life Sciences: Usage of organisms or its parts to develop or substitute products, services or processes.
- Cleantech: Technologies that rationalize the use of natural resources while reducing or eliminating environmental impacts.
